We are a developer of concepts and solutions as well as a manufacturer of products for modern logistics, our expertise incorporates the entire loading area.

For the loading area we develop, design and produce all kinds of mechanical and electro-hydraulic dock levellers as well as insulated loading ports. Also, special weather and impact protection systems can be realized by our company. We have gained special skills in the subject of high and maximum payloads. Our company has also designed sophisticated concepts regarding noise protection, heat and low temperature insulation and difficult approach situations during the loading process. In the course of many years, we have acquired our expertise in the fields of cargos, rail terminals and relevant military security zones.

With more than 30 years of experience in the field of loading technology, the company Meerhoff  is one of the top addresses when it comes to individual and customer-orientated special solutions with the highest quality and know-how in the loading area.

As a "manufacture" with high quality standards we already have resp. develop for many different customer requirements an efficient and specific solution and provide products tailored according to customers’ specifications as well as service made in Germany.

For the load-bearing substructures of our loading systems we exclusively use our hot-rolled steel profiles; furthermore, the load-bearing cover plate has a thickness of at least 8/10 mm. On account of these constructive reliabilities, the weight or the mass of our products is significantly higher than for standard products in the market.

Since noise is known to be absorbed primarily through mass, we thus have already gained, with our own design alone and without any special noise insulation, a significant advantage when it comes to the issues of noise protection, stability, reliability and durability. Through supplementary and targeted measures for noise protection, our loading systems are even particularly silent and are therefore suitable for use in loading facilities in the vicinity of noise controlled or residential areas.

Due to their robust construction, Meerhoff products already meet the standards for dock levellers EN 1398-2006 which are expected to be in force from autumn 2009.
